Andrey Knyshev is the author of four books of satirical-humorous and ironic-philosophical miniatures, including one innovative multimedia-interactive book with a special application for gadgets. This book (“Squats and Tiptoes”, 2016) was one of the first to use these new technologies.
The author was awarded in 1998 the “Golden Ostap” Satire and Humor Award in the category “Best Humorist Writer” in Russia.
The first publications of the author took place in 1977 in the newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets” and in 1978 in “Literaturnaya Gazeta” (“Club of 12 Chairs”). Since then, the author’s aphorisms and essays have been published in many print and online media, collections of jokes, and quoted on radio and TV. Many of his phrases “went to the people” and became a kind of modern folklore.
